i think it is correct. at least use of python chunks in BiocHail suggests it is @hpages @jwokaty is there explicit support for quarto in the BBS?

I don't know, but I've made an issue for it and will put it on the project board: Bioconductor/BBS#232.

I think this will be possible for the next release. AFAIK, the quarto format is supported by the installation of quarto CLI and everything else is business as usual if packages are using the appropriate vignette engine (quarto) in the DESCRIPTION file along with the relevant front matter in the vignettes.
