Combining tags and categories page

Hi,
How can I combine the tags and categories page?
The site breaks when I try to copy and paste one of them to the other.

I may be interested in doing that as well. I'm still trying to decide if having both categories and tags is excessive and/or confusing. The workflow of using categories and tags isn't really demonstrated.
