the turndown module is missing from the global installation. this is a known issue with npm global installs on windows. try these fixes:
npm install -g turndown
npm cache clean --force
npm uninstall -g flowise
npm install -g flowise
npx flowise start
git clone https://github.com/FlowiseAI/Flowise.git
cd Flowise
npm install
npm run build
npm run start
docker run -d -p 3000:3000 flowiseai/flowise
node --versionif using older node, upgrade with nvm-windows. the root cause is that npm global installs sometimes dont install all nested dependencies correctly on windows. the docker or source install methods are more reliable. |

@kumarroopesh Looking at the Flowise source, This makes me think the issue is not that you're missing a configuration step, but that your Flowise installation is incomplete or the dependency wasn't installed correctly. A few things I'd try, in order: 1. Check your Node.js versionFlowise recommends:
You can verify with: node --version
npm --versionIf you're on an unsupported version (or an early Node 22 release), try switching to Node 20 LTS and reinstalling. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1} 2. Reinstall Flowise cleanlynpm uninstall -g flowise
npm cache clean --force
npm install -g flowiseThen start it with: npx flowise startThe current npm package also documents 3. Verify whether
