This license covers everything under `hardware/` — CAD sources, printable meshes
(STL, STEP, 3MF), assembly documentation, bills of materials, photographs, and
renders — except where the "Third-party content" section below says otherwise.
Code and other material outside `hardware/` is covered by the [root LICENSE](../LICENSE).

## Terms

This user content is licensed under a Standard Digital File License.

You shall not share, sub-license, sell, rent, host, transfer, or distribute in
any way the digital or 3D printed versions of this object, nor any other
derivative work of this object in its digital or physical format (including —
but not limited to — remixes of this object, and hosting on other digital
platforms). The objects may not be used without permission in any way
whatsoever in which you charge money, or collect fees.

## Permitted Use

- **Personal Use**: Individuals may print, build, and modify this hardware for
  their own personal, non-commercial purposes.

No other use is granted by this license.

## No Institutional or Commercial Use

Beyond the resale restriction above, organizations may not use this hardware
without explicit written permission from the copyright holder. This applies to
companies, commercial entities, schools, universities, and other institutions
alike, and covers use of the physical parts — including printing them for use
in a product, a production line, a service, a course, a laboratory, a paid
demonstration, or any other organizational or revenue-generating activity —
whether or not the parts themselves are ever sold or transferred.

Licensing for organizations, including schools and universities, is available
from the copyright holder.

## No Warranty

This content is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or
implied. You assemble and operate this hardware at your own risk.

## Third-party content

Some files in this directory originate from upstream projects and remain under
their own licenses, which this license does not and cannot override:

- `robots/so101_6dof_wrist/software/robot_assets/meshes/base_link.stl`,
  `shoulder_link_1.stl`, `upper_arm_link_1.stl`, `lower_arm_link_1.stl` —
  geometry of the SO-101 arm body, derived from
  [TheRobotStudio/SO-ARM100](https://github.com/TheRobotStudio/SO-ARM100),
  licensed under the Apache License 2.0. See

The PathOn Robotics original parts — the pitch and yaw wrist links, the
