@Rdatatable/spanish what is the status of your translation?
When should we expect a PR? (even partial coverage would probably be useful, for example if only messages are translated and not vignettes)

sorry I did not do a search, I now see spanish po files for messages are already translated https://github.com/Rdatatable/data.table/pulls?q=spanish
however the initial scope of the translation project was "messages, vignettes, the cheatsheet, and the slides from the LatinR 2023 workshop" so are the cheatsheet or vignettes translated yet?

Most vignettes have now a translation though there is a pending revision by the team, plus updates if changes in the english vignettes.

can you please submit the translated vignettes in a PR?
Then "es" would show up as another language on the vignette web pages, like this one https://r-datatable.com/articles/datatable-intro.html

Hi @tdhock, sorry for the delay. I'm catching up with notifications after a break.
Next week I'll make the final review of the vignettes and add the cheatsheet on that repo.

This is a first version proposal for Spanish translations of the current vignettes. I made a general review unifying terminology, etc., I think it is ok for deploy, further revisions could be made later.
