Describe the bug
Hello,
Firstly, Sync-in looks really promising, well done !
I'm having a problem with the global file search, which isn't very useful as it stands: searching by filename only seems to work if you type the beginning of the word, not the middle.
For example, I have a file named "2026-04-15_bill_myclient.pdf". If I search for "bill" or "myclient", the file isn't found. I have to search for "2026" for the file to appear.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance,
Regards
PS: A tool that could be very useful for searching is Meilisearch (https://github.com/meilisearch/meilisearch). It allows you to handle typos, sort results by relevance, etc.
Installation method
Docker Compose
System information
Sync-in version : 2.2.0
OS : Docker (on Synology NAS)
Browser : Firefox last version
Reproducible on demo?
Yes
