I see that you stopped developing it. May I know the reason and when do you plan to work on it again?

Mostly lack of time. I had created a PR to GHC, but could not follow through with it and @hsyl20 did a great job on improving the big integer situation in GHC in the meantion. See the discussion here: ghc-proposals/ghc-proposals#183. Maybe I'll give it another shot by adding libcrypto as a ghc-bignum backend.
