Expanded View Colapses

When click on an image it expands fine, and if I close it using a close button and re-expand another image it works fine as well.

however if click on a different thumbnail bellow the expanded view main image collapses behind thumbnails.

any idea how can this be fixed?

Have you got a demo or were you able to resolve this? I had a similar issue with this when I scrolled down the page expanded div would just collapse on its own.
