The version of NoScript available on the Chrome Web Store is significantly behind the latest version available on GitHub. The Chrome Web Store currently has version 13.6.20, while newer versions contain several fixes and improvements.
I understand that updates may take some time to go through the Chrome Web Store review process. However, the long delay means Chrome users do not receive important fixes and improvements unless they manually download and install the newer version.
I personally prefer installing NoScript from the official Chrome Web Store because it is verified and updates automatically.
Could you please consider publishing stable updates to the Chrome Web Store more regularly, preferably soon after each stable release?
