NowcastVision is a web application that predicts rainfall up to 2 hours in advance with images of the sky, using cutting-edge deep learning technology.
The mobile application was developed as a practical implementation of the research paper titled "Hyperlocal Imminent Rainfall Prediction Using Ground-based Sky Imagery and Deep Learning" (IEEE 5th International Conference on Information Technology, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence). The app allows for easy (& offline) access to our Rainpred model, with a built-in camera for input.
