ARM64 Docker Image of the Rule Engine

Hello,

just wanted to ask if there are any plans to release the rule engine as an ARM64 image?

We run our actions on self-hosted runners which are ARM64 based, hence we currently can not use gitstream properly.

I saw that docker hub as a single arm based image which hints it might be possible to provide such an image :)

Hi, you can switch to V2 which doesn't use docker image anymore:

👉 How to Upgrade from v1 to v2:

1. Go to the CM repo or your dedicated repo
2. Navigate to the file .github/workflows/gitstream.yml
3. Change the line: uses: linear-b/gitstream-github-action@v1 to uses: linear-b/gitstream-github-action@v2

Sadly this will not fix the arm issue due to

The version '3.x' with architecture 'arm64' was not found for this operating system.
The list of all available versions can be found here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/actions/python-versions/main/versions-manifest.json

This is due it the versions-manifest.json not containing any arm64 for linux.
But this might be solve by actions/python-versions#274
