My request is to alter the "svg_to_paths.py" svg2paths function to use dom2dict to attach layers specified by the tag and stack them in the same hierarchy as the svg file. I'm working on a fork but I'm unsure of the etiquette surrounding github and how PR's work so I did the feature request. I will attempt a PR and see how that goes
Like others seem to have said, I'm grateful you have kept updating this package. This is an incredible help and got me to learn so much about how file parsing works as well as have a tool I didn't have to develop from scratch. Thank you!!!
