From my end this has been a problem all day. I found similar problem from a few years ago indicating its a problem from their end. I think there is nothing else to do but to wait it out.

Similar problem from their data explore page where none of the slices actually load. "Sorry, we're having trouble completing this search. If the issue persists, please consider submitting an issue on our GitHub repo."

Same here, certain endpoints have been like this all day.

Apologies for the disruption. Overnight the Planetary Computer saw a significant increase in STAC API request volume which resulted in timeouts for many users.

We’ve since updated firewall and database configurations to mitigate the issue and minimize further disruptions. The Planetary Computer’s APIs appear to be functioning normally now, but if you encounter any additional issues, please let us know.
