weird behavior of py5.random_gaussian

just started to make some Genuary code and suddenly came to that strange behavior of a py5.random_gaussian:

py5.random_gaussian(5)  #works fine
py5.random_gaussian(5, 2) #works fine
py5.random_gaussian(5.0, 2.0) #works fine
py5.random_gaussian(5.0) #raises a type error: 

TypeError: The parameter types (float) are invalid for method random_gaussian.
Your parameters must match one of the following signatures:

• random_gaussian() -> float
• random_gaussian(loc: float, /) -> float
• random_gaussian(loc: float, scale: float, /) -> float

May be it's an issue? Or may be I am missing something about types? py5 version is 0.10.8a4
