The generated CSS correctly mirrors what GitHub itself uses. GitHub relies on browser defaults for base list styles (disc for ul, decimal for ol), and so does this project.

The issue here is that CSS frameworks like Tailwind aggressively reset browser defaults (e.g., list-style: none), which removes the list markers. This is not something this project should work around - the reset is coming from your environment. The workarounds in this thread (using all: revert or explicitly re-setting list-style) are the correct approach for handling conflicts with CSS resets.
