UPDATE: I managed to get 4.1.7 working. The issue with flatpaks seems to be gone. I'll create a Draft PR to get first feedback and I will daily-drive it for the next few days to weeks to ensure that it is working properly. |

I noticed that the apparmor package was updated to 4.0.2 in commit 4cb0ee7 and reverted back to 3.1.7 in ceb659c.
At that time the package broke flatpaks and was reverted due to the package not being stable.
How nearly 2 years later upstream is now at appparmor 4.1.7 and most distros ship it (incl. non-systemd ones) and I thought that it would be nice to have it on Void too.
I would like to experiment with it and see if it is worth updating but I wanted to get some opinions if some of you would welcome an update too. I understand that this is a serious jump for a very important package thats why I would first daily-drive it for a few weeks and fix issues along the way and then open a Draft PR until I can confirm it fully works in as many scenarios as possible.
