Only now I notice the pre-commit failure. @graeme-a-stewart, is that because one should be using something similar to <a href="{{ '/technical_notes.html' | relative_url }}? I can try.

Yeah, I am also not sure - it's medium screens, where it drops the 3 column layout, but it's not truly narrow where it looks not so good. I will reduce the image size a bit, albeit not a brilliant fix....

For reference I found out how to fix this, using style="max-width: 250px; width:60%; " which limits the image's size in the column and it's maximum width on the screen. Fix was applied in #1825.
