it might be a bit hard to modify later as the order field is differnet from the list order. Would it help to try and keep the order consitent (i.e. moving block with order: 1 on top etc)

@minottic I agree with you that the configuration should be in the order in which the elements are shown, although I favor an explicit property that define the order. |

Description
This PR introduces all the changes in the frontend config that are needed for the PRs listed in the next section.
Motivation
FE PRs (1975)[https://github.com/SciCatProject/frontend/pull/1975] and (1976)[https://github.com/SciCatProject/frontend/pull/1976] requires some changes to the FE configuration provided by the BE.
