This package has been updated to target log4net 3.x, which is not binary-compatible with earlier log4net versions. Target frameworks not supported by log4net have now also been dropped. See https://github.com/apache/logging-log4net/releases/tag/rel%2F3.0.0 for full details of the log4net 3.x release.
