Why is this a separate entry and not bundled with your custom integration?

I didn’t know you could create a bundle with a card and an integration combined. Is there somewhere I can read about this? It would also make my process a lot faster and improve the experience for users.

There are no limits to what a custom integration can do.
HACS itself is a custom integration capable of registering custom cards. Several others do the same.
