EchoNnect

Your Digital Echo: Captured, Organized, Connected.

EchoNnect is a native Android note-taking application designed to streamline the way you capture thoughts. Built with a focus on simplicity and productivity, it bridges the gap between quick ideas and organized execution.

Purpose

I built EchoNnect because I wanted a personalized, distraction-free environment for my digital life. While there are many note apps out there, EchoNnect is designed to be lightweight, privacy-focused, and tailored to a seamless Java-based Android experience.

Key Features

  • Rich Note Creation: Beyond simple text - integrate web links and attach images to provide context to your ideas.
  • Markdown Support: Write notes in Markdown with a formatting toolbar. Toggle between edit and reading mode to preview rendered content.
  • Speech-to-Text: Dictate notes on the go using hands-free voice recognition.
  • Visual Organization: Use color-coding to categorize tasks, thoughts, or projects at a glance.
  • Powerful Search: Instantly retrieve information across all your saved notes.
  • Dynamic Theming: Full support for Light Mode, Dark Mode, and System Default settings for a comfortable reading experience any time of day.

Tech Stack

  • Language: Java
  • UI/Layout: XML (View System)
  • Platform: Android SDK
  • Architecture: Clean, modularized logic for note persistence and media handling.
