The bar icon was the Font Awesome globe (U+F0AC), which fills its whole em, so it sat visibly larger than the Material Design glyphs used by the indicators and the rest of the bar. It's now Material's earth (U+F01E7), which has the same padding and weight as its neighbours. The axial tilt is unchanged.
The jagged edges on the tilted glyph are fixed in the shell itself, in omacom/omarchy#13363.
