What works for Map that would be nice to have as an NDCube API (feedback from users)

I don't really understand the issue title, but the description looks a bit like Antoine Dolliou's euispice_coreg for EUI (as imager) and SPICE (as slit spectrometer with raster scan). euispice_coreg can do the alignment between a spectrometer data cube and a synthetic raster generated from the higher-cadence imager data, to take into account changes occurring on the Sun in the duration of the raster scan.

It would be nice to include a generic version of this into SunPy or sunkit-image.
