As far as I know, this plugin has no maintainer here, but nacitar's fork is actively developed. Maybe put your merge request there? |

This feature allows users to specify a variable g:alternateSwitchOnCurrentWindowAlways so that a.vim will always switch on the current window, even if the buffer is already open in another window
